Please come join us in the coming gathering where we are taking on a small project to design and furnish a Lounge at the school for small and mid size social events. Br. Mustafa is also going to prepare some of his great food including salmon! Agenda: Potluck Dinner followed by a group discussion and social time. Project: Plan and design a lounge for small to mid size social gatherings at the school. We are looking for good quality couches, chairs, and corner tables to be used to furnish the lounge. If you have items you would like to donate to this project please send photos to me. We are looking for good quality items (not junk) and will choose the items that will suit the design. Carpets, Art pieces, vases, posters are also needed. Please do come to the gathering be a part of this exciting project.

The Islamic House has come a long way from when it was first purchased in 1979. In the 2000's it went through a major renovation taken up by the students of MSA-UW. Today, we are in the final phases of renovation with the house needing exterior and interior renovations. Insha’allah, phase four of construction will be the last phase that will take place on the house and the vision that was seen many decades ago for the house will finally be fulfilled and the house will continue to serve as a community center, safe haven and a place of worship and dissemination of knowledge.
